Elizabeth Boyd

With over twenty-six years of teaching experience, Ms. Boyd brings a deep well of knowledge, passion, and results to every student she mentors. She’s taught at ACS International School in London, and two high-performing early colleges in Houston—both ranked in the top 2% nationally by U.S. News & World Report. During her tenure at Victory Early College, the school earned the prestigious National Blue Ribbon Award. She is currently at Spring Early College Academy. Elizabeth holds a B.A. in Education and an M.A.in Humanities. She has taught all levels of high school English where her students consistently achieved the highest scores in the district. She’s also taught history, drama, health, and AVID. Known for her “work smarter, not harder” philosophy, she blends strategy with inspiration to make learning efficient and enjoyable. She has also led multiple impactful Career Day events, drawing from strong alumni relationships. Elizabeth’s passion for learning is truly contagious—and it shows in the lasting success of her students.

Tonya McCleskey

With over twenty years of experience in education, Ms. McCleskey has dedicated her career to helping students succeed in mathematics. She is currently head of the Mathematics Dept. at Spring Early College Academy. Specializing in Algebra 2 and Pre-Calculus, she bring deep content knowledge, patience, and a passion for teaching into every classroom. Known for building strong, supportive relationships with students, Ms. McCleskey believes in creating a positive learning environment where all learners feel valued and encouraged to reach their full potential. Her commitment to student growth—both academically and personally—remains at the heart of everything she does.

Josey Castile

Mr. Castile is a mathematics/social studies teacher with over seven years of classroom experience and a successful private tutoring practice. He holds a degree in history, and soon economics, and specializes in middle school through high school math, including Algebra I & II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and SAT/ACT prep. Mr. Castile’s approach is patient, personalized, and results-driven—designed to meet students where they are and help them grow in both skill and confidence.
